Frequently Asked Questions

For your convenience, here are answers to commonly asked questions.

Q: What are your bus rental rates?

A: Every trip is unique, so it’s challenging to identify a set rate for all circumstances. Quotes are customized for each trip based on the information you provide.

Q: What factors influence the bus rental rate?

A: There are many factors that influence your rates. These include the time required to complete the trip, the time of day you are travelling and the distance travelled from the driver’s parking location to you and your destination. Extra charges may be applied to trips that conflict with the regular school day and for special equipment i.e. wheelchair accessible vehicles.

Q: What does your quote include? Are there any hidden costs?

A: Your quote includes the cost of renting the bus, the driver, the fuel mileage for the trip as detailed in your itinerary. Other costs, like parking and park entry fees are the customer’s responsibility at the time of service. Highway tolls (i.e. 407 ETR) will be added to the quote if the customer approves it. Any deviations from the original itinerary such as extra stops or time at a location would be considered an added expense.

Q: How much of a deposit is required and when is the final payment due?

A: A 50% deposit is required with the signed contract and the remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the event. On occasions when there is not a 14 day window, we will only accept a certified check, money order or credit card payment 48 hours prior to the event. Credit cards accepted are Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

A: We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel your trip with us, you will not be charged a cancellation fee and your deposit will be refunded as long as it is a minimum of 48 hours prior to pick up. Cancellations within 24 hours of pickup are subject to a one hour charge of the hourly rate quoted. Cancellations that occur once the bus has left the yard and at the curb cancellations will be charged for the time it took to travel to the pickup point and to return to the bus yard.

Q: Can I request a specific route or a specific driver?

A: Yes, you can let your charter coordinator know that you'd like to travel a specific route or have a specific driver, and the agent will work to accommodate your request.
